Your zones, activities, lawn data, and settings are stored locally on your device. Nothing is sent to any server.
Lawn Guardian does not show third-party ads, sponsored content, or data brokerage.
We don't sell or share your personal data. Your lawn habits are yours alone.
Local app data (on device): zones, lawn profiles, activity logs, weather history, health scores, recommendations, and app settings.
Local backup files (optional): you may export your data as a JSON file for personal backup or device transfer. These files stay on your own storage.
Purchase information: buying Lawn Guardian uses your app store account. We may receive non-sensitive purchase status from the billing provider to unlock Premium features.
In-app purchases are processed by your app store (Google Play on Android, App Store on iOS). We do not receive your full payment details. Purchase status is used solely to unlock Premium features.
We may use crash and error reporting to improve app stability. These tools collect technical information about the app and device (e.g., OS version, crash stack traces) — no personal lawn data.
Lawn Guardian may request camera access to scan product barcodes and look up fertilizer and herbicide information automatically. The camera is only used when you actively open the scanner — it is never accessed in the background.
Offline only: no data leaves your device unless you actively use the backup export feature.
Export/Import: use the app's JSON backup and CSV export features to create local copies or move devices.
Delete data: you can remove all local data from within the app at any time.
Lawn Guardian is intended for adults managing their personal property. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
